Mission Statement
PAPA JOHN'S SCHOLARS MISSION

Our mission is to provide worthy students with college scholarships and to foster meaningful relationships between Papa John’s and the schools and general public in the communities in which we do business.  This will occur within an environment that respects our staff and every applicant, parent, and school administrator with whom we have contact, either directly or indirectly.

The notion of pursuing any worthwhile endeavor without regard to the following particulars is incomprehensible.

Specifically, Papa John’s Scholars will create a framework that does not discriminate against, nor allow discrimination against, any person regarding their race, creed, gender, culture, national origin, political or religious beliefs, sexual orientation, family structure or social background.  Papa John’s Scholars will unceasingly be an entity focused upon the inclusion rather than exclusion of a varied and diverse base of beneficiaries, applicants, and staff.  This is quintessentially the touchstone that defines the character of the Papa John’s Scholars program.

Papa John’s Scholars will strive to be a consultative program that brings to the table a fairly administered high quality scholarship program with predictable and significant outcomes.  Every form of contact or communication with Papa John’s Scholars should demonstrate a scholarly demeanor, a penchant for detail, and an uncommonly high level of competence, sensitivity, and concern for students and their advocates.

Every staff member related to the Scholars program is charged with the responsibility to be protective of our student applicants and concerned regarding their pursuit of higher education.  There will constantly be substantial and obvious effort to ensure that the Papa John’s Scholars program places the best interests of our students above everything else.

We pledge that these words, and perhaps more importantly the spirit in which they were written, will not become lost in the fray and distraction of our normal business operations.
