The Papa John’s Scholars program strives to reward students not only for academic achievements but also for demonstrated leadership, community involvement, creative ability, athletic achievements and who have overcome obstacles. Helping you achieve your higher education goals is a top priority for Papa John’s.

Another unique aspect of Papa John's Scholars is that it is truly a neighborhood based scholarship program. By this we mean that every Papa John's restaurant choosing to participate in the scholarship program provides the funding for their neighborhood based scholarship.

Only high schools in the immediate delivery area of one of the scholarship-funding Papa John's restaurants are eligible to participate in the Papa John's Scholars Program. The home address of the student has no bearing on eligibility to apply, only the proximity of the high school to one of the scholarship-funding Papa John's restaurants. The list of participating high schools is constantly revised and may not be finalized until March.

Applications for high school seniors are available online and from your guidance counselor beginning in December. Completed applications must be delivered to the student's guidance counselor by the deadline set by their guidance office. Applications and instructions are sent to the guidance offices of the high schools in the immediate delivery area of the participating Papa John's restaurant . 

Guidance counselors will be notified if they have a scholarship-winning student at their high school by the end of the school year. We do not notify counselors at schools where no scholarships are awarded. Only applications from students attending one of the eligible high schools will be accepted for review. We will not accept applications from a previous year or non-participating high schools.
